Why We Created the ASU+GSV & Emeritus Summit

Our mission is to create a world in which ALL people have equal access to the future.

The ASU+GSV & Emeritus Summit is the preeminent convening of global leaders across "Pre-K to Gray" education and skills. We are focused on transformation being driven in and from "the East" – India, MENA, Africa, and SEA as these combined economies are home to over 2.5B people with rapidly rising GDP per capita, new physical and technology infrastructure investment, and tremendous demand for learning of all forms.

We believe that ALL people deserve equal access to the future and that innovations in the scaled delivery of learning and skills is critical to achieving this mission. We also believe that solutions must deliver a high Return on Education ("ROE"), which entails increasing access, lowering costs, giving leverage to teachers and faculty, and improving outcomes. We celebrate innovators and innovations.

Our two days of concentrated program (commencing with an opening reception on February 12) will delve into critical issues and developments with leaders at all levels. It is our objective to have each attendee inspired and spurred to transformative action. With 600 attendees and only a few tickets available to the public, space will be limited.

ASU+GSV

The ASU+GSV Summit, co-founded by Michael Moe and Deborah Quazzo, began in 2010 with a collaboration between Global Silicon Valley (GSV) and Arizona State University (ASU). Our north star is that ALL people have equal access to the future, and we believe that innovations at scale in "Pre-K to Gray" learning and skills are critical to achieving that end. Now celebrating its 15 years, ASU+GSV has become the world's most important and impactful gathering of leaders across "Pre-K to Gray" education and workforce learning with our flagship event held in San Diego welcoming over 16,000 yearly attendees in person and virtually, the second annual ASU+GSV & Emeritus Summit in India, and the inaugural ASU+GSV AIR Show illuminating the transformative future of AI and learning. Across all of our global event, the magic is in the mix with investors, entrepreneurs, educators, and innovators who would otherwise never be in the same room together, but all of whom shared a passion for driving education and innovation.
