Daniel Andrews

Daniel Andrews is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Playground, a child care management software creating tools enabling child care providers to run more efficient and successful child care businesses. Daniel grew up in a family of early childhood educators. His mother began as a preschool teacher and moved up to become director of the largest preschool in Southern California and is now building graduate programs for early childhood educators. Daniel’s grandmother and aunt are all also child care directors and owners. Leveraging his software engineering background, Daniel created Playground to help his mother’s preschool operate more efficiently - since then Playground has grown to help thousands of child care programs with everything from charging tuition to daily communication with parents. A firm believer that excellent child care is achievable anywhere, Daniel created Playground to help child care providers have the tools to achieve excellence, all in one place.
