Education and training are about endowing a learner’s brain with knowledge and skills. That is typically done indirectly via lessons, readings, and assignments. An improved understanding of how the brain develops from infancy and learns throughout adulthood, coupled with new neurotechnologies, is making it possible to directly yet non-invasively change the contents of the brain. These innovations have the potential to accelerate learning and enhance human potential, while providing new opportunities for brain-based interventions and assessments.
