Towards a School of Personalized Learning In 2017, RePublic Charter Schools recognized that students in their Computer Science classes could work faster than the already rigorous pace and content they were engaging in. Thus, we developed a theory of personalized learning that not only allowed us to let these students fly but to systematically support other students work towards more autonomy in their learning. Through highly differentiated space, pace, feedback, and content, we have created a learning management system, curriculum framework, and classroom culture expectations, which allows our teachers to implement personalized learning classrooms in Math, History, Computer Science, Foreign Language, and Music classrooms.
