The American School System was designed in the 1890s largely to meet the needs of industrialism and a growing US economy. As we approach the end of our 4th industrial revolution, the World of Work, labor supply and demand, and the global economy have changed drastically... yet our modern day school system hasn't evolved. In order to bridge the gap between K-12 and both the current and future world of work, Cajon Valley USD has invested in the creation and deployment of a K-12 modern curriculum to equip children with what they need to lead happy and healthy lives, in positive relationships on a path to gainful employment while helping our community become the best place to live, work, play and raise a family. Join us to discover how our students aspire to careers they didn't know existed.
