Emma Bloomberg is founder and CEO of Murmuration, a non-profit that equips community organizers and advocates with the data, tools, and insights needed to drive greater local level engagement so that we can create an America that lives up to its founding promises and ideals. Previously, Bloomberg was chief of staff and, before that, senior planning officer at the Robin Hood Foundation, dedicated to fighting poverty in New York City. She is a board member of Bloomberg Philanthropies, KIPP Foundation, New Classrooms, and Leadership for Educational Equity. She also runs, with her sister, the Emma and Georgina Bloomberg Foundation, a private charitable foundation supporting education and animal rights groups. Bloomberg has been an advisor to the Mayoral Leadership in Education Network at Harvard Kennedy School and chair of the Stand for Children Leadership Center. Emma holds a BA from Princeton University, an MPA from The Harvard Kennedy School, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
