Chris Goodall is Head of Digital Education and AI at Bourne Education Trust, where he leads AI transformation across the multi-academy trust whilst establishing national thought leadership in the responsible use of artificial intelligence in education. Named on the AI 100 UK List 2025, Chris is recognised for his exceptional contributions to advancing the responsible design and deployment of AI in the education sector.With over 20 years of experience in education and technology leadership, Chris's career spans senior leadership in schools, IT strategy consultancy, and pioneering digital education initiatives. As former Head of Surrey Online School and IT Strategy Adviser at Surrey County Council, he developed cutting-edge online learning solutions and drove IT strategies that transformed education provision across the county. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Head Teacher and Assistant Head Teacher at Epsom and Ewell High School, a Microsoft Showcase School, where he led the integration of new technologies and pioneered award-winning mental health provision.A certified PRINCE2 project management practitioner, trained hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner, and life coach, Chris brings a unique combination of deep education sector understanding, technological expertise, and commercial awareness to his work.
