
Erin Armstrong is the Chief Learning Officer at Tulsa Public Schools, where she leads the academic and student and family services teams for a district serving more than 33,000 students. In this role, she drives district-wide strategy across curriculum, instruction, assessment, and continuous improvement and serves and integral role within the Superintendent's Cabinet.Prior to her current role, Erin served as Executive Director of Teaching and Learning, overseeing secondary content, data-driven instruction, instructional resources, library services, fine arts, and educational technology. As Director of Data-Driven Instruction, she built the district's comprehensive assessment system and co-led the Tulsa Curriculum & Assessment Alignment Group, which reduced unnecessary assessment time to protect academic learning time.As a Cambiar Education Catalyst Fellow, Erin's impact project expanded access to rigorous coursework for middle school students — nearly quadrupling the number entering high school with at least one high school credit and strengthening their pathway to college success.With roots as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, and principal, Erin brings a practitioner's perspective to district leadership that spans more than two decades. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in leadership and literacy from Oklahoma State University and a superintendent's certification from the University of Oklahoma.
