She has earned a strong reputation as a transformational leader in urban education, with a track record of building capacity and driving improvement at scale.Staci’s career spans roles from classroom teacher to senior district leadership. In Houston ISD, she served as Assistant Superintendent of Leadership Development and School Support, overseeing nearly 300 schools, six school offices, and three divisions, while leading principal and principal supervisor development initiatives.She currently serves as Deputy Superintendent of Strategy, Innovation, and Performance for the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, where she leads cross-functional strategic initiatives, guides long-range planning, advances innovation, and oversees performance and ROI efforts aligned to district priorities. Her work includes strategic plan development and monitoring, investment alignment, program evaluation, and building districtwide accountability systems that connect vision, strategy, budget, and results.Beyond her professional roles, Staci is deeply committed to service and community leadership. She believes strongly in the responsibility of leaders to create conditions where others can grow and succeed.
