Coach Lou Holtz is widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches in the history of college football, having won an impressive 249 games throughout his illustrious career. In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Holtzwas inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2007.

Holtz is also the only coach to have led six different universities to Bowl Games, including Notre Dame, which he led to a National Championship.
