What makes ASU+GSV Summit different from other L&D and HR conferences?
+
Most workforce learning events keep L&D and HR leaders in their own silos, but the ASU+GSV Summit does the opposite. Known as the “Davos of education,” it brings 7,000+ cross-sector leaders together for four days of insights and connection across the entire “PreK to Gray” learning continuum—including entrepreneurs, K-12 educators, higher education leaders, policymakers, state leaders, investors, nonprofits, and the companies building what’s next in learning and work. For workforce leaders, it’s a rare chance to see the full talent pipeline in one place and to meet the partners who can help shape it. Amid all that energy, GSV Workforce Rising Stars will gain something even harder to find: intimate, closed-door conversations with fellow rising leaders and C-level learning and talent executives, many of whom serve on our GSV Workforce Insights Board.
As AI reshapes how people learn and work, leaders who understand the broader education landscape will stand apart. Being part of the GSV Workforce Rising Stars gives members the network and experiences to continue sharpening that edge in both their leadership and their impact.
What qualities are being prioritized in the selection process?

Standout Impact: Top talent who are genuinely great at their job with tangible impact and whose leadership reflects workforce learning as critical to both human potential and business impact.
Innovation Forward: Tracks the workforce learning market closely, always looking ahead to where the puck is going, and often on the earlier end of familiarizing and championing new tools and solutions in the space.
Shares the GSV Ethos: Aligned with GSV’s mission of providing equal access to the future for ALL and carries genuine curiosity to engage with learning and skills leaders across the PreK to Gray continuum.
