Julie Hansen

Julie Hansen is the CRO and US CEO of Babbel, responsible for marketing the leading language-learning app globally. Prior to Babbel, Julie was President and COO of Business Insider, where she was integral in moving it from a tiny operation to a household name and the most visited business outlet on the internet. From early in her career, Julie can point to a track record in building profitable digital businesses. She has held top management roles at CBS, Condé Nast Publications, and Time Inc, with over two decades of experience in launching interactive web sites, deploying mobile apps, and leading online marketing campaigns. She began her career at Penguin Group USA, where she founded the Electronic Publishing division in 1995.
