Marion Kennedy Amos is the CEO of Ellevation Education, the nation’s leading K-12 software solution for multilingual learners, supporting over 50% of MLs across the country. A strategic leader with deep expertise at the intersection of education and technology, Marion has played a pivotal role in shaping how Ellevation partners with school districts to drive student and educator success.Marion’s journey with Ellevation began 11 years ago as the company’s first inside sales representative. Through her vision, dedication, and deep understanding of educators’ needs, she has helped scale the organization, ensuring that schools nationwide have the tools to support multilingual learners effectively.Before Ellevation, Marion worked at Google and in higher education, but her passion for education started in the classroom. As a 7th-grade special education teacher in Chelsea, MA, through Teach for America, she became obsessed with solving problems for students and educators—a commitment that continues to fuel her work today.Marion holds a B.A. in History and Religion from Duke University and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston University. She lives in Durham, North Carolina, with her husband, Bryan, and their two young children.
