Preston Silverman

Preston Silverman, CEO and Co-Founder Preston Silverman is CEO & Co-Founder of RaiseMe, a college preparedness platform founded in 2012 that is expanding access to higher education, especially among low income and first generation students. To-date, RaiseMe has helped students earn more than $4 billion in scholarships from colleges. Preston was inspired to start RaiseMe while teaching high school history and economics at Shanti Bhavan School in India, a nonprofit institution that serves students from India's lowest socioeconomic caste. Previously, Preston served as the Director of Asia-Pacific at Frontier Strategy Group, a strategy consultancy focused on developing markets. Preston holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was an EDSi Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.
