21st Century Skills

Skills development is viewed by many as the next frontier of education. The difficult, but necessary, transition from knowledge learning to adding focusing on skills acquisition – cognitive skills (e.g. communication, critical-thinking, collaboration, creativity) and socio-emotional skills (e.g. self regulated learning, calm under pressure etc). Google plans to be a driving force in this transition by pioneering ways to bridge and scale the measurement and development of 21C skills, and career readiness in a way that is validated by academia and easily integrated and implemented in real classrooms globally.
