Beyond Good Intentions: Action and Accountability for the Gender Leadership Gap

Our public education system was constructed two centuries ago and continues to operate with the same biases impacting every aspect of recruitment, selection, and long-term retention of women in the workforce. The time is now for taking on an overhaul of our education systems and the role of the superintendency. Some 600 education leaders and allies from around the country have publicly signed on to the emerging movement to do just that.
