Students Lead the Way: Open-Source AI Solutions to Improve Accessibility and Security

This session will “flip the script” on the common topic of how generative AI can provide better a student experience. Instead, hear from ASU and Cal Poly students, who have leveraged their internships with the AWS Cloud Innovation Centers program to build scalable, open-source solutions. Their open-source projects address core challenges in PDF accessibility and cybersecurity using generative AI. This session showcases scalable solutions built for higher education applications.
