Cambiar Education

Callie Riley serves as a Managing Director at Cambiar Education, a non-profit education venture studio. There she sits on the senior leadership team and leads the organization's efforts to support the impact, scale and sustainability of non-profit high-quality curriculum developers through financing, research and other capacity building supports. Before joining Cambiar, Callie served as a senior program officer on Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies' national education team, as a consultant to school districts, state and foundations and in multiple management roles at other national education policy non-profits. She began her career as a middle school English and reading teacher in Japan and Florida. Callie holds a master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park and a bachelor’s from Wittenberg University. Outside of work, she serves as a board member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, a  trustee for Capital City Public Charter School and an advisor for several other national non-profit and for-profit education companies.
