Dr. Robert Lee is the Dean of National University’s Sanford College of Education, California’s largest provider of teaching credentials, and serves as NU’s Regional Vice President for Los Angeles. He is nationally recognized for his innovative work in building community-based learning centers with a wide-ranging list of accomplishments as an educator, community advocate, and leader. Over his career, Dr. Lee has secured over $50 million in grant funding, including recent DOE grants to build teacher residencies and full-service community schools in California. He also established NU’s first stackable certificate pathway for early childhood educators. His award-winning work and progressive ideas have been featured on PBS NewsHour®, CSPAN, and covered by Education Week and The Hechinger Report.
