Elizabeth Landers is an educator, technology expert, and international strategist pioneering AI integration in higher education at UCLA. As a PhD candidate in History and experienced course designer, she combines deep academic expertise with extensive technical experience to transform course development through AI innovation. Drawing from her background leading software development teams and implementing technology solutions across four continents, Elizabeth brings unique insights to educational AI. Her experience includes developing secure payment systems in France with HP, Ingenico, and Cap Gemini, leading Daimler Chrysler's Bluetooth integration, and establishing strategic technology partnerships across China as co-founder of the Inno Group. In Haiti, she created solar-powered education hubs (E-Nest), demonstrating her ability to adapt technology for diverse learning environments. At UCLA, Elizabeth has designed and taught numerous courses integrating cutting-edge educational technologies over the past 8 years. She speaks five languages and holds multiple advanced degrees, including two MAs. Her current work focuses on leveraging AI through the Kudu platform to enhance course design while maintaining academic rigor, helping faculty optimize their time for meaningful student interaction.
