
Kristen Fox is the CEO of the Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF), a national non-profit organization that brings together innovative higher education and business leaders together to develop a skilled, adaptable workforce—one that drives innovation, fuels economic growth, and empowers individuals to thrive in meaningful careers. BHEF helps businesses leaders activate inclusive and effective talent pathways and higher education leaders implement industry-aligned models that achieve outcomes for learners. Kristen has over 20 years of education and workforce innovation leadership experience working at the intersection of education, digital learning, and workforce development. On the leadership team at Tyton Partners, Fox led organizational growth and advised leaders of foundations, companies, and institutions across the education and workforce sector. Her work has focused on bringing university and employer executives together to design regional workforce development pathways, leading university-wide strategy and revenue sustainability engagements, informing the development of products and go-to-market strategies for edtech firms, and publishing national research on the impact of digital learning and AI on teaching, learning, and equity in higher education. She previously worked as a special advisor at Northeastern University, where she led initiatives focused on building new models to scale experiential and work-based learning, developing alternative credentials, scaling career services for adult and part-time learners, and creating new pathways to recruit underserved students into high-demand fields. Prior to that, she was a managing vice president at Eduventures. Early in her career, Kristen taught undergraduate global history and writing courses at the University of California, San Diego. She is a parent of three school aged-children.
