Maya Landau

Maya Landau is a Digital Art Teacher who uses AI to better serve her K-8 students. She is currently using Teach FX to improve her own best teaching practices, Claude for language translation of class materials and generation of extracurricular materials, and the Code.Org AI curriculums to strengthen student understanding of AI. Her teaching practice combines both traditional visual arts and computer programming instruction. Our students are growing up in a world where AI is actively evolving and integrating into society across all fields. She sees her job as an educator to best equip students to think critically about our world, its technology, and their role within it. This includes helping our students learn to ask questions and to utilize AI tools to best further their own educational and career goals.
