
Meg Riordan, Ph.D., is the Chief Learning Officer at The Possible Zone, an innovative education organization where high school students collaborate with industry professionals to develop STEAM and durable skills while building pathways to in-demand careers and meaningful contributions to their communities.
Prior to joining TPZ, Meg served as Regional Director at NYC Outward Bound Schools, where she oversaw a network of 12 middle and high schools. She also served as Director of External Research at EL Education, where she led a randomized controlled trial examining the impact of EL’s integrated model of curriculum and professional learning.
Meg is the author of Going to Scale with New School Designs: Reinventing High School, along with numerous journal articles and publications. Her work focuses on scaling innovative learning models, experiential and career-connected education, human-centered approaches to AI in learning, and high-quality professional learning for educators.
She holds a doctorate in education from New York University, an MBA from Louisiana State University, a Master’s in Writing from DePaul University, and a BA from Marquette University. In her free time she runs ultra-marathons and practices aerial fabrics and trapeze at New England Center for Circus Arts.
