Moseka Medlock is a servant leader dedicated to creating empowering spaces where teachers' voices are centered, and celebrated. As Senior Director of Programs at the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, she leads the Teacher Quality & Retention Program (TQRP) with a profound vision of cultivating belonging, agency, and leadership among HBCU-educated educators. Her approach goes beyond traditional professional development, intentionally designing programs that provide teachers with opportunities for holistic year-round development and support as they engage in their professional journeys, explore leadership roles, and build transformative educational connections. Under her leadership, TQRP has achieved remarkable outcomes: a 91% teacher retention rate, 75% of fellows advancing to leadership roles, and a powerful model of educator empowerment that centers Black professional excellence. A graduate of Spelman College and Columbia University, Moseka brings over 20 years of educational experience rooted in a deep commitment to creating spaces of genuine inclusion, professional growth, and systemic change in K-12 education.
