Rodrigo Gomez is an educator and emerging technology specialist with a deep passion for rhetoric, pedagogy, poetry, and EdTech, dedicated to transforming education for future leaders. He believes in the power of gamification, AI, Web3, and immersive technologies (the Metaverse) to design learning experiences that are engaging, relevant, and grounded in Culturally Responsive Pedagogy, emphasizing the ethical use of AI to empower students in today’s digital landscape. Beyond the classroom, Rodrigo serves as a Faculty Specialist for Emerging Technology in the Office of Innovation & Institutional Effectiveness at the San Diego Community College District. In this role, he leads district-wide initiatives like the "AI Demystified" series, helping educators embrace innovative teaching strategies and navigate AI responsibly, ensuring both students and teachers succeed in a tech-driven world.
