Lumina Foundation is an independent, private foundation in Indianapolis that is committed to making opportunities for learning beyond high school available to all. We envision a system that is easy to navigate, delivers fair results, and meets the nation’s need for talent through a broad range of credentials. As Lumina Foundation works to increase the nation’s education attainment rates, we embrace a dual commitment – to racial equity and to quality credentials. In short, we seek to ensure that our systems of education beyond high school produce fair and just outcomes for people of color. At the same time, we work to ensure that degrees and other education credentials reflect the learning necessary for workplace success and informed citizenship.
