LRNG, the community impact arm of SNHU, is launching an ambitious attempt to build a learning eco-system that focuses on pathways to education and work for low income youth in three pilot cities: Birmingham, New Orleans, and Chicago. Bringing together city government and assets, CBOs, educational providers, and social capital in the neighborhoods, the work will create a coherent and stackable credentialing framework that moves from badges through micro-credentials to degree, while creating on-ramps to work.
