Coming Together in the Name of Well-Being

Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) President and CEO Aaliyah Samuel, Oakland Unified School District Superintendent Kyla Johnson-Trammell, The Jed Foundation President/COO Rebecca Benghiat, Intellispark CEO Stephen Smith, Ednovate CEO and Co-Founder Oliver Sicat, and Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Director Jared Joiner discuss coming together in the name of well-being at the 2023 ASU+GSV Summit.

Join leaders in K-12 as they reflect on the current challenges and opportunities related to addressing mental health and well-being in schools and communities, as well as strategies and initiatives being implemented or proposed to support students and educators socially and emotionally. The panel will delve into the importance of partnerships and collaboration between different stakeholders to support students' and educators' well-being. Additionally, the panel will discuss the role of technology in addressing well-being, including virtual counseling and other digital resources to support students and educators.
