Alternative pathways” are no longer alternative. Industry credentials are going mainstream, and it’s time to start replicating the collaborations and strategies that are working. This session will explore the ways industry credentials have exponentially increased in the wake of the pandemic, why these trends are here to stay, and the responsibility of leaders and innovators to learn what works (and what doesn’t) with industry, short-term credentials and share that learning with the world. We’ll take a look at a few intentional collaborations that include the broader learning and working ecosystem and showcase how employers, educational institutions, workforce boards, and nonprofits are working together to put the job seeker first and solve crippling workforce issues.
