Rising Tigers of the SEA Southeast Asia

With a combined population exceeding 600 million the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is collectively the worlds 3rd largest market. The ASEAN region has consistently shown strong economic growth over the past decade despite brief periods of political uncertainty and now boasts a combined GDP of $2.4 trillion USD. ASEAN’s Rising Tiger economies including the countries Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand all possess tremendous opportunity for growth in the education sector given their youthful population and burgeoning middle class eager to invest in educational services for their children. The Rising Tigers of Southeast Asia panel session will share insights into current regional education and edtech trends and highlight common barriers to entry for investors and companies looking to enter ASEAN markets.
