Abigail Hollingsworth is the Senior Vice President of Workforce Development at Bank of America, where she leads the company’s strategy to expand access to livable-wage jobs and strengthen economic mobility across the U.S. She oversees efforts to analyze labor market needs and invest in high-performing community colleges and nonprofit training providers that help individuals obtain livable-wage jobs—both in local communities and within the bank. In this role, Abigail collaborates across philanthropic giving, talent acquisition, and learning and development to deliver a comprehensive suite of resources to partners in more than 90 markets nationwide. Her work supports organizations that deliver measurable outcomes, including job placement, industry-recognized credentials, skills training, and services for individuals facing barriers to employment. She also works closely with talent acquisition teams to connect nonprofit program graduates to job opportunities at Bank of America. In 2025, these efforts helped the bank provide $38MM in philanthropic grants to more than 600 nonprofits and 100 colleges, contributing to over 85,000 individuals securing employment in their communities. The Workforce Development team also delivered 160 career-readiness workshops reaching more than 5,000 participants. Abigail joined Bank of America in 2008 and has held roles across corporate social responsibility, credit card marketing, and online banking strategy. Prior to the bank, she worked at Habitat for Humanity International, where she helped plan a nationwide home-building initiative that constructed 400 affordable homes in one week. She holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. Abigail lives in the Washington, DC area with her family.
