Sharon Strauss
ETS | Chief People Officer
Sharon is an experienced global human capital and change leader, bringing decades of experience across industries, sectors, and geographies to her role as Chief People Officer at ETS where she oversees engagement and change initiatives, talent development and learning, total rewards, talent acquisition, organizational design, HR operations, and M&A integration.
Having attended high school overseas, worked as an expat in Europe, and served organizations ranging from startups to multinational corporations, Sharon brings a uniquely global perspective to leadership. Her background includes roles in both public and privatec ompanies—as the 39th employee at one firm, and one of over 250,000 at another.
Over the past 12+ years, Sharon has served as Chief People Officer at several organizations, including two high-growth, private equity–backed SaaS companies. There, she built HR infrastructure from the ground up and led transformational change and integration efforts through multiple acquisitions. Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles at Citibank, GE, Tiffany & Co., and various technology companies.
Recognized for strengthening organizational health and building collaborative, cross-functional partnerships, Sharon has a proven track record of aligning people strategies with business outcomes. She holds a B.A. with Honors in Psychology from BrownUniversity.
Based in Maryland with her husband,Sharon enjoys travel, yoga, pilates, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband are adapting to their new life as empty-nesters, with her son a university sophomore studying overseas for four years and her stepdaughter working as anICU nurse.
