Daniel Liu is the Assistant Vice Provost for Career Success at The University of Texas at Austin, one of the largest and most complex career ecosystems in American higher education, serving more than 50,000 students across 19 colleges. Over his tenure, he has transformed a presidential initiative into a fully integrated, campus-wide function, reimagining what it means for a major research university to prepare students for the future of work. He approaches the work as a builder: identifying where the system is broken, designing for scale, and measuring what actually matters. A former tech strategy consultant, Daniel brings systems thinking, AI fluency, and change management discipline to a field that has long resisted all three.
