Emma Ferris

Emma Ferris is a teacher and Digital Learning Lead at Tring School, a Premier Google Reference School in Hertfordshire. She is the recipient of the 2024 UK and Ireland Google Reference School Award for Teacher of the Year. Emma leads staff and student training in the use of Google Workspace and chromebooks alongside the strategic implementation of AI, including integration of generative AI tools to reduce teacher workload and personalise student learning. She is passionate about leveraging AI to enhance the human side of teaching; fostering creativity, critical thinking and ethical digital citizenship in an increasingly automated world.
