Kay Shepherd is a specialist in teacher and leader development with a longstanding commitment to high-quality professional learning. Originally a Primary school teacher before moving to Teach First overseeing ITT across the East Midlands, she founded the Leicestershire and Rutland Teaching School Hub, securing successive designations and supporting 300 schools. Kay now leads professional development for a 3,500-strong MAT, runs a SCITT, and has designed a Trust-wide PD and leadership curriculum. She holds a Masters in Educational Leadership, NPQEL, and is an accredited coach.
