Alana Carter-Grimes

Alana Maria Carter-Grimes is a junior at Delaware State University, where she is a student leader, scholar, and emerging business professional majoring in Management with a dual concentration in Business Analytics and Management Information Systems / Enterprise Resource Planning (MIS/ERP). She serves as the inaugural Miss College of Business, actively supporting initiatives centered on leadership development, community engagement, and student success within the University. Alana was also selected as a member of the inaugural ASU+GSV HBCU Partnership Cohort, where she engaged with industry leaders, innovators, and change-makers in the fields of education and business.Deeply committed to service and social impact, Alana strives to be a positive and uplifting force for those around her. Her experiences span public speaking, academic and program coordination, student leadership, and mentorship, all of which inform her collaborative and mission-driven approach. Alana leads with authenticity and intention, believing that embracing every part of one’s identity creates space for others to do the same. Guided by the belief that you never know who you can help simply by being yourself, she is dedicated to using her voice and skills to support inclusive communities and meaningful change, both on campus and beyond.
