Dr. Patrice S. Johnson is a visionary leader, strategist, and advocate for systemic change. With a multi-disciplinary career spanning politics, education, and social impact, she has empowered over 30,000 students and led transformative initiatives across the globe. As Vice Mayor of Muskegon Heights, she championed policies to uplift her hometown. She later pioneered Detroit’s 21st Century Urban Boarding Program for girls, reimagining education at its core.

The first person of color to earn a Doctorate of Education from Cornerstone University, her groundbreaking research, The Color of Emergency, challenged systemic inequities in education leadership and finance. Now, as President and CEO of Project Scientist, she is shaping the future of STEM, ensuring young girls—especially those from underestimated communities—have access to innovation and leadership opportunities.
