Tiffany Taylor

Tiffany Taylor is President of the ASU+GSV Summit powered by Hyve & BETT, one of the world’s most influential global platforms at the intersection of education, workforce, and innovation. In this role, she convenes educators, technologists, entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropic leaders, and policymakers to advance solutions that improve learning and expand opportunity at scale. Tiffany brings a systems-level lens to responsible innovation, elevating models that are rigorous, scalable, and grounded in the needs of learners at every stage of life.

A passionate, results-driven leader with more than 20 years of experience across the education, nonprofit, for-profit, and public sectors, Tiffany has built a career focused on expanding access, strengthening institutions, and fostering meaningful cross-sector collaboration. Prior to her current role, she served as Partner and Chief People & Impact Officer at GSV Ventures, a multi-stage venture capital firm focused on the $7+ trillion global education and workforce skills sector, where she led talent strategy, community engagement, and impact initiatives across the firm’s ecosystem.

Earlier in her career, Tiffany served as Executive Director of Teach For America–Detroit, where she set a bold vision for regional impact, expanded local and national fundraising, and led a high-performing, sustainable operation grounded in educational equity and community partnership. She later joined Teach For America’s national organization as Deputy Chief People Officer, shaping talent strategy and leadership development efforts across regions nationwide. Across each of these roles, she has focused on building strong teams, scaling impact, and strengthening pathways for students and educators.

Deeply committed to civic leadership and community impact, Tiffany serves on the boards of KIPP Michigan, BMEA, Reading Partners, Michigan Virtual Learning, and the AI Education Project. She is also a board member of Tutored by Teachers, a board advisor to the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University, member of the Aspen Rising Generation Strategy Group, and a gubernatorial appointee to the Huron-Clinton Metroparks Authority Board of Commissioners. In recognition of her leadership and contributions, Tiffany has received numerous honors, including the Walker’s Legacy Foundation’s national Women in Economic Development and Civic Leadership Award, recognition in Microsoft’s 2022 Legacy Project, and the BMEA Education Pioneer Award.

A native Detroiter and graduate of Detroit Public Schools, Tiffany holds a BA from the University of Michigan, an MS in Education from St. Joseph’s University, and a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Maryland. She also completed the Leading Change and Organizational Renewal program at Harvard Business School.
