Abbey Prior

Abbey is the Vice President, Educator Engagement on the ASU+GSV Summit team, and brings 16 years of experience and commitment to pursuing equitable access to education across the globe to our GSV family. She began this work teaching middle school special education in Brooklyn, NY with Teach For America and then joined staff where she worked in campus recruitment, strategic talent acquisition, learning and development and people work. For the last 8 years, Abbey has also supported the learning and growth of educators across the globe with Teach For All’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team. She has experience designing diversity, equity and inclusion resources and engagements for CEO and staff across the globe. Most recently, Abbey helped lead people work as a Chief of Staff on TFA’s HR team and served a strategic thought partner for senior leadership in service of stewarding team wide vision and strategies.

Abbey earned her M. Ed. from PACE University School of Education, and her B.A. from Boston College. She lives in Portland, Maine with her son, partner and dog.
