Yen is the Assistant Vice President of Program on the ASU+GSV Summit team. Yen is an innovative leader, with nearly ten years of experience in education, including eight years in the classroom.
She previously served the Noble Network of Charter Schools, coaching teachers and scaling curriculum across 18 campuses. Most notably, she founded a policy debate team and has helped students find their voice by debating a wide variety of issues from criminal justice to quantum computing. Yen began her career as a Learning Specialist in the Bay Area with Teach for America. She is passionate about how the intersection of education and technology can improve outcomes for all students.
Yen holds a Master’s in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University and double majored in Political Science and East Asian Studies at Yale University. Based in Chicago, IL, Yen enjoys yoga, biking along Lake Michigan, and walking her dog, Molly, in her free time.
