That is why we are pleased to announce bestselling author of The World is Flat and New York Times  foreign affairs columnist, Tom Friedman, as a keynote speaker at the 2022 Summit. Thomas Friedman is a three-time Pulitzer Prize-winner and author of 7 New York Times Bestsellers. He is renowned for his direct reporting and accessible analysis of complex issues shaping the world. He is a frequent guest on America’s major news shows including Meet the Press and Morning Joe.

A tremendous thank you to our friends at ECMC Group for bringing Thomas Friedman to ASU+GSV 13.0 to discuss the need to educate and train workers at the speed of change – a primary focus of their work. His Stage X appearance will build on the lessons learned in his new book. He will outline the unique challenges facing our post-secondary education systems, such as declining enrollment in four-year degree programs, the increasing need for direct-to-employment pathways, and actions to shape the system to work for everyone.
