It’s Time to Double Down on Human Capital in K-12

As AI reshapes how learning happens, human connection is emerging as K–12’s most essential infrastructure—and this workshop explores how education ecosystems are elevating relationships, social capital, and community-based learning to meet that need. Together, we’ll examine how educator roles must evolve, the competencies ecosystem educators require, and how mapping local human-capital networks can reveal connectors, gaps, and new opportunities to expand learning pathways and strengthen the durable skills young people need for their futures.
