Closing the Loop: Scaling Personalized Education with AI-Driven Knowledge Graphs

The promise of personalized education has long been constrained by the difficulty of systematically and at scale identifying and mapping an individual's knowledge gaps. In order to realize this vision, we require systems that understand the student's learning goals, track their progress, and help remediate knowledge gaps.
At Google, we have been developing AI-assisted personalized learning platforms that create a continuous, closed-loop learning experience.
In this talk, Google Cloud and Google Research will discuss the technical architecture of our knowledge graphs, which map complex relationships between learning objectives and educational standards. Furthermore, we will demonstrate how we leverage AI in Learn your way, Google Skills, and Gemini Enterprise to generate targeted assessments and real-time remediations, effectively bridging knowledge gaps as they arise.
