AI and Equity: Debunking the Paradox for Institutions

Where is there an opportunity to make AI-powered institutional gains in a manner that sustains culture, fairness, transparency, and equity? How do we realize this opportunity at scale? In this session, we will focus on the process of building AI-powered tools with, and for, education institutions using culturally-sustaining content and restorative practices.  A case study will be provided where Paritii collaborated with institutions to design and develop a boutique AI-powered tool to meet their strategic goals. Panelists will provide diverse perspectives from their vantage in industry, institutional practice, activism, and pedagogy.
