While talent is equally distributed in our country, opportunity is not. Only about 30% of 1.4 million low-income or first-generation college students who enroll in college each year will graduate and secure a strong first job or enter graduate school. A collaboration between National Louis University in Chicago, the nonprofit Braven, and local employers serves as an example of innovative partnerships to ensure more college students are equipped with the skills and networks to close this gap and achieve the American Dream.
