Partnership lab: Innovation in times of rapid change

The only thing certain about the current education funding landscape is uncertainty. Funders and innovators will need new strategies, partnerships, and ways of resourcing the next generation of tools to support learners.

The session will begin with a moderated discussion exploring trends — such as shifts in public and private funding, technology adoption, and AI — that are affecting how educators and education innovators find and access resourcing for their programs. Attendees will hear how leaders from Siegel Family Endowment and the Walton Family Foundation are partnering and leveraging innovative funding mechanisms to identify and support future-ready education solutions, featuring their joint $2.2 million competition, the Learning Landscapes Challenge. Session attendees will then participate in an interactive, facilitated discussion to reimagine partnerships that can meet the moment. The conversation will challenge attendees to think boldly about collaborations that could transform their work — from ambitious initiatives requiring significant funding to resourceful solutions that require no budget at all.
