Faraaz is a co-founder of Kalam Labs, a Stratospheric Aerial Robotics Lab which has built India's first flight controller for nano-planes. The Made-In-India flight controller has dropped the cost of fixed-wing and quadcopter drones to $10 and $20 USD. Making it extremely accessible and useful for education with great potential in other fields. Kalam Labs has further undertaken intensive ambitious missions like unfurling India's Flag at the edge of space (118,000+ ft) and is inventing a stratospheric glider drone capable of retrieving payloads from those heights. Faraaz, a YC S21 alum, co-founded Kalam Labs with his friends Sashakt and Harshit at the age of 21. An engineer at heart, he loves crafting planes and flying it himself.
