Aileen Lee

Aileen is founder of Cowboy Ventures, a seed stage-focused VC firm that backs enterprise and consumer-oriented software companies like Guild, Drata Security, Ironclad Software and Dolalr Shave Club, starting at their earliest stages. Prior to Cowboy, she was a partner at Kleiner Perkins for over a decade, a startup CEO and worked at Gap Inc. She's also known for coining the business term “unicorn” and co-founding All-Raise, a non-profit to accelerate success for women and minorities in the VC ecosystem. She has been included on the Forbes Midas List, Fortune's Most Powerful Women, and Time's 100. She has degrees from MIT and HBS, and is mom of 3 and wife to a startup founder.
