Alex Peng

Dr. Alex Peng has served as TAL Education Group's President since January 2022, and Chief Financial Officer since November 2021. Dr. Peng joined the company in March 2020 as Vice President of Strategy. Prior to joining TAL, Dr. Peng was the General Manager of Business Strategy in Microsoft’s Greater China Region from 2011 to 2020. Prior to that, Dr. Peng was a consultant and partner at the global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company in Beijing from 2001 to 2011. Dr. Peng holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Harvard University, and a doctor's degree in mathematics from Princeton University.
