Dr. Alexander Stevens

Alex is an informaticist on MSK's Digital Strategic Insights and Value team. He holds a Ph.D. in technology and innovation with a data science sub-specialty. He studies the governance, trustworthiness, development, application, and human factors of AI to drive adoption and maximize AI investment. Due to the rapid maturation and deployment of advanced AI technologies, such as generative AI, he developed a new theory of trust and acceptance of AI technology (TrAAIT) in healthcare transformation. Alex thrives on leading the frontier to responsibly coalesce human ingenuity and innovation with people and organizational strategy. Alex has developed the TrAAIT system as an informatics tool to help improve the adoption of clinical AI.
